Beyond coverage of event expenses, especially the travel and security related costs for His Holiness the Dalai Lama, proceeds will directly support the following projects identified by the TIBETcenter for their good work in providing service to the Tibetan Refugee Community, and others:
1. Tibetan Youth Congress, CENTREX, Dharamsala, India for its educational, social and cultural activities
2. Tibetan Women’s Association, CENTREX, Dharamsala, India for educational, social and cultural activities
3. Gu-Chu-Sum, Dharamsala, India for its welfare activities for former Tibetan political prisoners
4. Tibetan Nuns Project, Dharamsala, India for its educational and welfare needs
5. Thangtong Lugar Tibetan Performing Arts, Dharamsala, for promotion of Tibetan performing arts
6. Central Council of Tibetan Medicine, Dharamsala, India for its publications and conferences
7. Retired Staff Home of Men-Tsee-Khang, Chauntra, India for its recreational programs, and Tibetan Welfare Office, Dharamsala for contingency fund
8. Department of Health, Dharamsala, India, for eradication of tuberculosis in Tibetan refugee community
9. Tibetan Alliance of Chicago, for its community center
10. Men-Tsee-Khang, Dharamsala, India, for its medical fund for the poor and needy
11. Dance and Music groups of the Tibetan Associations in Boston, Chicago, Madison and Minneapolis, for the promotion of Tibetan performing arts
12. Basic Education Fund of Tibetan Children’s Educational and Welfare Fund, Dharamsala, India
13. The Dalai Lama Trust, New York, USA for cultivation of ahimsa and nonviolence
14. Senior Tibetans Assistance Resource, Chicago, USA for corpus donation
